IrisManager is a backup manager based on HManager, utilizing the PSL1GHT, Tiny3D, PS3Soundlib and OpenPS3FTP projects. It is free software made using homebrew tools only.

Features
- Supports running games with split files from external USB devices (caching the big file to the internal HDD)
- New syscall8 and new developed hook with an open_table algorithm on 3.55
- Support for Black Screen games (BDEmu)
- Installing games to USB devices (GAMEI) - but not yet for games with files over 4GB that require splitting
Installation
There are two packages provided in each release. The normal one has title ID IMANAGER4, while the stealth version identifies itself with ID NPUA80034 (Lemmings Demo). Functionality is identical. Choose your preferred package and install it the usual way.
Using the external EBOOT functionality
If you wish to use a patched EBOOT file with a game (ie. compatibility problems that someone has fixed) these are the procedures:
- Rename the patched EBOOT.BIN to GAME-ID.BIN. For example, Catherine would be BLJM-60215.BIN. (Case-sensitive, make sure it's all uppercase.)
- Insert a USB flash drive (or HDD) into your computer, make a folder called "ps3game", and copy the patched file into it. (Folder name also case-sensitive, make sure it's all lowercase.)
- Insert your USB device in any of the slots on the PS3, and in IrisManager under the game's options (press Select), use the "Copy Eboot" option. (This copies your patched EBOOT file to the PS3's internal drive.)
- Finally, set the Extern-Eboots option to ON in the game's configuration menu.
